I'm a seasoned professional Cinematographer, certified in HD (high definition) & SD (standard definition).I work with a variety of cameras which I intimately know, using Cameras like the Sony CineAlta HD and the Panasonic VariCam SD & HD, Digi Beta, Beta SP and p2 format cameras.
I've worked as a cameraman since 1990 and have been based in Atlanta, GA since 1998. I've covered everything from entertainment, news, sports, documentaries, public relations and advertising for national corporations such as HBO, National Geographic, Turner Broadcasting, NBC, CBS, Fox, MTV, ESPN, ABC and CNBC. I'm originally from Johannesburg, South Africa where I worked for international and national companies like BBC, Reuters, SABC (South African Broadcast Company) and M-Net (Movie Network).
I have acted as both DP and field producer on many EFP (electronic field production) & ENG (electronic news gathering) productions, operating hard-camera and handheld-camera configurations, in single-to-multi camera setups in the field and studio. The variety of different television programs I have had the honor to work on has given me a range of opportunities to broaden my experience which allows me to provide the highest quality for your production.
Over the past years I've worked with remote camera cranes, using the Cam-Mate system which delivers the highest quality cranes (from 6 ft to 50ft) for the film and video industry. As a jib operator, I've had the opportunity to work for a variety of networks, production companies and producers for live events
as well as broadcast, commercials, taped productions, documentaries, reality shows and industrials. I've worked with 16mm and 35mm camera gear, Sony CineAlta HD and the Panasonic VariCam SD & HD.
