I’m a Seasoned Professional Cinematographer, certified in HD (high definition) & SD (standard definition). I work with a variety of cameras which I intimately know, using Cameras like the Sony CineAlta HD and the Panasonic VariCam SD & HD, Digi Beta, Beta SP and p2 format cameras.

I have operated as a DP / Cinematographer since 1990 and went freelance in 1993. Working in both HD (high definition) and SD (standard definition) formats. Shooting type EFP & ENG style productions with the responsibilities of lighting and have acted a field producer as well. Operating Hard-Camera, to Handheld-Camera configurations, in single to multi camera setups in the field as well as Studio.

I moved to the US in 1998 and am using Atlanta (GA) as home base. Before I settled in Atlanta, I lived in Johannesburg, South Africa, working for national and international companies, My main source of work was from the national broadcasting corporations in South Africa SABC and M-Net and also worked for the BBC and Reuters. Working as a Cameraman/ DP in the television industry on a variety of programs, from shooting documentaries in Timbuktu (in the Sahara Desert) to an interview with President Nelson Mandela at the Hilton in Johannesburg. Since living in the US I've had opportunity to freelance Covering everything from entertainment, news, sports, documentaries to public relations and advertising shooting for National Corporations like HBO, National Geographic’s, Turner Broad Casting, NBC, CBS, Fox, MTV, ESPN, ABC, CNBC

The variety of different television programs I have had the honor to work on has given me a range of opportunities to broaden my experience as a Cameraman to get the job done right

While still a DP I have taken the next step of camera work and got involved with remote camera cranes, using the Cam-Mate system that has been delivering the highest quality cranes for the film and video industry.The lengths of the cranes starts at 6ft to 50ft arms.
As a jib operator have had the opportunity to work for a variety of networks, production companies and producers for live events.
Shooting broadcast, commercials, taped productions, concerts, documentaries reality shows and industrials. Working with 16mm and 35mm camera gear, Sony CineAlta HD and the Panasonic VariCam SD & HD.
